Mr.Host, being a Toronto based company, is obligated to start charging HST on everything we invoice.<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t think this was fair.<\/p>\n<p>So, to be one of the few bills you receive that does not go up, and to show our appreciation for your continued business, we&#8217;ve decided to cover the cost of the HST increase. We&#8217;ll facilitate this by lowering the price of your monthly hosting, and yearly domain renewals, by an amount (roughly) equivalent to the HST increase.<\/p>\n<p>So your monthly web hosting, and yearly domain registration\/renewal costs <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">will NOT go up<\/span>&#8211; in fact, your cost after HST will be lower than what you&#8217;re paying right now.<\/p>\n<p>In the weeks leading up to July 1<sup>st<\/sup>, we&#8217;ll send out an update with your new web hosting and domain registration rates, and then on July 1<sup>st<\/sup>, the new rates will go into place.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about this upcoming change, please let us know us know<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you know, HST will be coming into effect on July 1st, 2010 in Ontario and British Columbia.
